West Virginia public school teacher and union activist, Nicole McCormick, dishes on the anti-teacher and anti-union legislation that passed the West Virginia Legislature this past session and why teachers and their unions let it happen. McCormick also discusses how COVID-19 impacted teachers and students, the 2016 Jim Justice endorsement, and children impacted by the Opioid Epidemic.
McCormick ran for VP of West Virginia Education Association in 2020 and serves on the WV United Caucus steering committee.
