Because we have studied the book of revelation and we have arrived at the place in revelation where the church does not get mentioned again on the earth at the end of chapter 3 and where the church is after that we will turn our eyes for a brief moment to the bride of Christ before we continue with chapter 5

The Rapture

I was speaking to someone recently this person have been in different deniminations and he said to me “Bishop I never heard all these years that in hell a person would know and be conceous of where they are? And I responded yes have you never considered that story of Abraham and Lazarus? The question then is why say we go church which we who are born again know that we are the church and the church only meet in a building or a place, which the scripture says whereever 2 or 3 are gathered together in my name there I will be. How do we believe in heaven and not hell? Hell was not made for us and Jesus goes to make room for those who are the church.

Luke 17:32-37 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

The truth of the 'rapture' of believers, though widely held among evangelical Christians in the past, appears to have fallen into disrepute among many of late.

One has only to go to the Internet to see how many people do not believe in the taken away of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ.
