Coming to you from various locations in California, and from Ohio, join Emily Jernigan (California Department of Child Support Services) and Brandi Gallebo (Franklin County, Ohio Child Support Enforcement Agency) as they host today’s program. They welcome Matt Klutz (CEO, founder of Therapon Redding) and Laura Van Buskirk (IV-D Director of Placer County Child Support). Together they have a conversation about organizational leadership and the part leaders play in creating healthy organizations. They share about who they are, and where their journeys have led them. They talk about what is organizational culture, why is it important, and how it really affects the retention of an organization of an agency. They also discuss how leaders set the tone and drive the culture in an organization, and the difference between organizational leadership and traditional management. Gain some practical tips as they provide what child support leaders can do to enhance or even learn leadership skills that they are talking about.
