Unlike any other monster, the Chenoo is a reminder that in the coldest reaches of the world, even the kindest soul can lose their humanity and become a predator driven by primal rage and an unquenchable appetite. The Chenoo is not just a creature of the wilderness—it is a haunting reflection of the dangers lurking in the shadows of our own darkest instincts.

Now, what is this creature, you might ask? The Chenoo, also known as the Giwakwa or Kiwakwa, is a towering, emaciated giant—a human, cursed and transformed through dark magic into a terrifying beast. It’s not just their enormous size that makes them frightening; it’s their insatiable hunger for human flesh. With fangs so large they’ve been known to eat their own lips in hunger, these creatures have been said to haunt the dense forests and icy wilderness, especially during the harsh winter months.

One of the most unsettling aspects of the Chenoo is that it was once human. The legends tell of ordinary people—men and women—who are cursed or transformed into Chenoos, losing their humanity as they grow larger and more ravenous. Unlike other giants in folklore, these aren’t mindless monsters but tortured souls, driven mad by an internal, icy heart of pure evil. And believe me, once they set their sights on a victim, there’s no escape. Their frozen, hollow screams can kill any living thing within earshot.
