Activist Kasia Arndt, who is part of the Polish women's movement Strakj Kobiet and active in the Danish debate, will tell us about the struggle which is at the epicenter of the debate on democratic rights and values in Europe right now. Under the battle cry “This is war!”, Polish women walk the streets for the right to abortion in the country where abortion this year has been prohibited. Rémy Bonny is the executive director of Forbidden Colours – a Fund supporting LGBTIQ-equality projects across the European Union. For over 5 years, Bonny has been working as a researcher and activist on LGBTIQ-issues in the European Union. His expertise focuses on the international relations and the opposition towards LGBTIQ-equality in Central and Eastern Europe. Therefore, he lived in Poland and Hungary. Bonny has commented in many international media about the recent events developing in Central and Eastern Europe concerning LGBTIQ-issues. This podcast is co-sponsored by Europe for Citizens and Europanævnet.
