His career sounds like an adventure novel. Broadcast journalist John Stofflet has literally been to the ends of the Earth and Timbuktu. With dozens of awards for reporting and newscasting, John completed a career that started in Madison by returning to anchor at WMTV-TV, the NBC affiliate. In between, he reported and hosted for Seattle's KING-TV, the National Geographic Channel and HGTV. John also has interviewed the likes of Julia Roberts, Will Ferrell and Robin Williams.
He joins us to talk about what led him to become a broadcast journalist, some of the people he interviewed, and why he spends hours in a kayak when the weather allows. Plus, John is still traveling the world. Listen in to find out more with a few laughs along the way.
