In this episode of Out of the Dust, Anjelica and A.R. examine two different events when bigoted beings arrived on the Sac State campus, and the student response to sting their bigotry off campus. The May 2018 Westboro Baptist protest and Dr. William Shockley's November 1971 visit to Sac state campus are examined in this episode, with a focus on the student responses to Shockley's visit. The Sac State Hornet, furthermore, used the student paper to destroy Shockley academically while airing differing, heated views in the opinion section of the paper.
