The heroic journey of Subedar Karam Singh, an Indian soldier who displayed extraordinary courage and leadership in the face of adversity. Joining the army in 1941, he distinguished himself during World War II's Burma Campaign, earning the Military Medal for valour. During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947, he defended a vital post at Richhmar Gali, earning him the prestigious Param Vir Chakra. His historic role in hoisting India's flag after independence further cements his legacy as a patriot. Rising through the ranks, he retired as an honorary captain in 1969, leaving behind a legacy of bravery and sacrifice.
