Voter Resources - Interview with Debra Greenley Gorman, Perrysburg Area League of Women Voters President
Manage episode 445705646 series 3561735
The topic today is Voter Resources for Perrysburg residents. I like to be an informed voter, but I’m not an expert on the topic of Voter Resources. Therefore, I invited Debra Greenley Gorman to be my guest today. Debra is the President of the Perrysburg Area League of Women Voters, and she is a wealth of information about Voter Resources in Perrysburg.
The League of Women Voters (LWV) is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government through their Voter Services work. The LWV influences public policy through education and advocacy. The LWV is comprised of a National League, State Leagues, and Local Leagues.
During our conversation, Debra explains what the League of Women Voters is first. Then, she shares voter resources, such as websites, an important phone number, text alerts, and information from the printed nonpartisan Voter Guide (published by the Perrysburg Area League of Women Voters in the PMJ Newspaper).
We recorded our conversation on Saturday, October 12, 2024, and this episode was published on Friday, October 18. By the time you listen to our conversation, things may have changed. Therefore, please use the Voter Resources mentioned today (including the text alerts).
Be an informed voter, and get out and vote!
