On this episode, Monica shares about the Seasons of PR: DEI, WIT, and Remote Work
Serving in the Manager role at Golin, Monica Pohl plays a major role in understanding the vision and objectives of clients and determining the appropriate actions to help said clients achieve that vision/goal. For Monica, securing media coverage and working with each client to take pride in providing the best plan for them is the most rewarding part of the role. For her clients, she leads different business divisions such as corporate/crisis communications, high profile events, vehicle electrification, electric vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems, renewable energy, and space. Through her commitment to the position, she has helped Golin improve her client’s ability to make informed, thoughtful decisions by providing her counsel and expertise. She’s passionate about DEI and ESG initiatives.
While Manager is her primary job function by day, Monica also enjoys being outside in nature hiking, going on adventures with her dog, and brushing up on her foreign language skills through travel as she speaks 3 languages (English, Spanish, & Cambodian/Khmer).
