Thank you so much for joining me for another episode of Soul Care Sunday! This week we will be focusing on Mental Health Representation in the Media (Social, News outlets, Radio, Literature), and how that representation impacts and effects the members of our society. I am joined by three special guests near and dear to my heart, Laila Michelle, Angelique Lipford, and Da'Juan Bringht!
This episode is excellent food for thought, and is training for greater mental health awareness! The next time you are listening to music, watching an ad on Youtube, or anything else, look for signs that point to mental health issues. What is being said here? Is this behavior okay? How can I read in between the lines to understand what is actually going on here?
