Both are bestselling mysteries that are executed very differently. Who is Maud Dixon? is a clever thrill ride that combines an edgy whodunit reminiscent of Patricia Highsmith with the fun and accessibility of Sophie Kinsella. Apples Never Fall is the much anticipated novel by the author of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers. The novel focuses on missing matriarch Joy Delaney, her four adult children, husband, and a mysterious houseguest.
