Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Today marks the 30th anniversary of the Sony PlayStation, if you can believe it. For the last 3 decades, Sony's platform has taken the video game industry by storm, as a plucky new entrant to the console wars in the 90's, after being spurned by Nintendo, Sony has had an undeniably commanding presence in this industry ever since. This week's episode is focussed on the PlayStation platforms over the years and my experiences with them, as well as talk about some of the best and iconic games for each generation.
