Timothy wasn't the only one to get gifts! We're reading 2 Timothy, and it's obvious that young Tim had some gift related to his ministry, imparted by the laying on of Paul's hands. That's not a gift given to everyone. But Paul continues by naming some gifts "we" have. Could you use some power in your life? Some love? Some self-control and discernment? You already have them, according to this passage. Here's Jim at 2 Timothy 1, verse 4.
