Welcome to 'Round About Campus, the podcast for the About Campus magazine, the scholarly magazine of ACPA-College Student Educators International.
In our second season of 'Round About Campus, we take a 'behind the scenes' look at how About Campus works by talking to various people involved in making the magic happen. In this episode, co-hostesses Alex C. Lange and Z Nicolazzo talk with Roman Christiaens, who serves as the Managing Editor for About Campus.
Roman is a fourth year doctoral candidate in the Center for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Arizona whose research focuses on examining diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in higher education using critical frameworks around race, gender, space, and sexuality. Roman is an educator committed to anti-racism and decentering whiteness in education and queer and trans equity in their work. In addition to their role as the Managing Editor of About Campus, Roman also serves as the Internal Relations Director with the Consortium of Higher Education, LGBT Resource Professionals.
