Whether facing the criticism of religious leaders or the overwhelming burden of the cross, Jesus remained grounded in His identity and mission, modeling for us how to live free of manipulation. * The battlefield of the mind: Much of the pressure we face comes from thoughts that do not align with God’s truth. Romans 12:2 reminds us to renew our minds, which is critical to living free of external influence and grounded in the reality of our true identity. * Freedom from people’s opinions: Learn the importance of being free from the opinions and judgments of others. When we place more value on what God says about us than what others think, we become unshakable. * The role of surrender: Living impervious to pressure requires surrendering control to God. Trusting that His plans are good, even when life seems overwhelming, allows us to rest in His sovereignty and walk in peace.
