Today for our 11th episode, and our 2nd one in English, I am very happy to have for the first time a married couple. Wilson is Spanish, born and bred in Barcelona where his parents emigrated from Taiwan ; and his wife Panya is Thai but grew up all over the world. She is a perfect example of a Third culture kid with high mobility.
Together we’ll explore their cultural identity, Spanish-ness, Thai-ness, why they chose to settle in Singapore as a mixed couple, how they relate to their country of origin - or not. They will also share personal anecdotes about their colourful wedding and the way their friends perceive them.
