But what they didn’t know was that some of their early customers were actually Shark Tank producers. Not once, but twice, the producers tried to convince the two founders into appearing but each time, they turned it down. Eventually, the call of the Tank was too powerful to ignore and Cousins Maine Lobster appeared on Season 4 of Shark Tank. Since closing a deal with Barbara Corcoran, they have been able to expand to over 50 trucks and locations across 24 states.
