#12 - A family centered foundation

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Today, I want to have an unscripted, heart to heart conversation about the importance of a strong family centered foundation.

As we approach this new year, it is inevitable that we will reflect on the past year and look toward the coming one. I hope all of you will take time to reflect over the next few days. During this time of reflection, revisit your "why's". What is important to you and why are you working hard to grow and improve? However, don't forget to focus on "what's".. What is it that brings joy and happiness into your life? What brings you strength and courage? What have you don't right in your life, and how can you spend time nurturing it, so it continues to be a source of strength to you?

Lastly, your "who's". No, not from the Dr. Seuss books.. I am talking about, "who" the most important people are to you.. who do you want to create the most valuable memories with as you take on the journey of growth and achievement?

As you write down your goals for 2024. Include a section for nurturing relationships.. Include those you want to continue to make memories with, and what type of memories you want to make.

You have heard me talk about needing a strong foundation to lean on when times get tough.. I promise you, nothing is better then a strong family centered foundation. When times get tough or challenges arise, revisit these written goals for strength and motivation.

As for me? When I am faced with a challenge, I am empowered by the thought of over coming it because of, AND for my family. I know as you put focus on the life pillar of Family, you will see improved success and joy through out your journey!
