Prayers Result in Judgment

God's people's prayers in Revelation 6-9-11 produce the judgments that follow, beginning in verse Revelation 6-12-17. Those judgments parallel the judgments in Revelation 16-20, demonstrating that these visions overlap one another, covering the same material but advancing a little bit each time.--Revelation 7-3 parallels Ezekiel 9-4, where true believers receive a seal protecting them from the judgment being poured out on those around them.--The tribe of Dan is missing from the twelve tribes that comprise the 144,000 of Revelation 7-4-8. This appears to be an ideal number, the Jewish people squared -12X12- and then multiplied by the cube of the Holy of holies -10X10X10, Exodus 26-15-30- - 144,000.--But what is of great significance is the expansion of God's kingdom beyond the fulness of Israel's 144,000 to a vast number that no one can count, made up of people from all over the world in Revelation 7-9.---We've a story to tell to the nations- during this time when God holds back his hand of judgment. Why does he delay-- Peter tells us- God's delay, God's patience is salvation -2 Peter 3-9-.--Then at the return of Christ all our tears will be wiped away by a nail-pierced hand -Revelation 7-17-.
