Consent means respecting the other person's feelings and their individual personality. It is beyond "asking for permission". The seed of autonomy over the self must be sown at an earlier age, by the parents themselves, considering the dynamics of the family and their practices. The formula is not the same for everyone but the concept is. Consent is the base for creating a safe space for the children to grow. At times, consent can be confusing.
