This week, we are pressing pause to reflect and learn how three of Simplexity’s previous guests are taking strong, heart-centered approaches to educate, process, and activate people during this time. Gloria Atanmo, CEO and travel blogger, is crafting unifying resources with a compassionate “take what you need” approach. Sexologist Shan Boodram has been candid about her exploration of colorism as a mixed-race woman, along with sharing how sex, love, and relationships play into conversations of race and activism. Singer-songwriter India Carney is using her superpower of music and art to find gratitude, dignity, and determination in a period that could easily lead to hopelessness.
We revisit moments from earlier interviews to see how they tie in to today’s climate, and of course, it wouldn’t be complete without India’s breathtaking musical performance.
