ABOUT THE GUEST
Gareth was a UK based vocalist in original music bands from the ages 15-21years, and in covers bands from 22-32years. He took voice lessons to solve problems with YELLING in gigs and lack of high range. He decided to start a recording studio and was persuaded by his voice teacher to teach singing as a side line until the studio was busy - lessons became extremely busy very quickly and so the studio took a back seat.
An opportunity to record a previously famous artist meant Gareth needed to employ some of his students as voice teachers to cover his workload (and 2 of them became The Naked Vocalists.) He got them to train in proper pedagogy (SLS) and realised he needed to as well!
Gareth opened a bigger studio with more teaching rooms and recording studios / rehearsal rooms, dance studio and cafe, and got asked to teach Music Tech at a College. In 2015, he sold his business to move to Australia and start over small and once again, hands on!
