In this episode of TDi Insights In Conversation, TDi Sustainability's Marketing Manager, Sarah Wilkinson, sits down with CEO Assheton Stewart Carter to reflect on, and celebrate, TDi's first decade.
When Assheton founded TDi ten years ago, a major focus of the company's work was working with large brands on conflict minerals. The last ten years has seen a rapid evolution of the sustainability landscape, particularly in terms of regulations - sustainability concerns are no longer the domain of the biggest. Responsible sourcing now covers all products, all materials, all countries and all companies. This rapid expansion has been coupled with growing expectations both from stakeholders and in terms of the information that companies must gather on their supply chains. Assheton discusses how TDi itself has evolved to meet these challenges - enabling companies to go beyond compliance to have a real impact on the ground. He then reflects on the key sustainability themes that businesses are likely to have to address over the near and long-term future.
