You've heard of the inner critic, right? Joy Langley offers some counterintuitive expert advice on working WITH and not AGAINST this inner saboteur. _______________________________________________________ Joy Langley is a qualified Coach and Stress Management Therapist based in the UK. A confidante to business owners, and author of "Navigating Stress" (2021), she believes that we all need to recognize the things in life that stress us out! Her big mission is to “alleviate human suffering,” and more than that to connect people with their biological need for self-love, and the fulfilling work we can do to bring more meaning to our lives. She does this by helping people get back to their “happy” place via transformational coaching and therapy conversations. Joy comes to this work with personal experience as well as professional. The maternal side of Joy’s family has a history of poor mental health (mum, aunts, uncles, granddad). Joy experienced anxiety and depression during her 20s. Then tragically in 2018 her 23 year-old son Riaz-Jaye committed suicide after living with bipolar for longer than he could bear. She lost her sister and sister's daughter in 2020, 88yr old mum and dad in 2021. Mental and emotional well-being are a non-negotiable way of life for Joy! Joy believes that no one should be asked to sacrifice health (burn-out), relationships or their sanity because of the rules of their industry or profession. She works with business owners on essentials for business success - a healthy brain, positive attitude and mindset, and a commitment to personal growth.
