Ike from Big Tex Ordnance sits down with Jack Leuba and Ash Hess from Knight's Armament Company for an inside look at their latest product innovations. Jack shares his background as a Marine grunt and competitive shooter which led him to a career at Knights in 2012. Ash outlines his 22 years in the Army including multiple combat tours before joining Knights in 2018.
The two discuss Knight's new line of suppressors featuring groundbreaking purge technology to reduce backpressure and operator toxic gas exposure. Jack explains how 3D printing has revolutionized their manufacturing capabilities allowing for rapid design iterations and increased production capacity. The hosts highlight the importance of the skilled employees at their Florida factory who do the hands-on work to make these products possible.
Ash and Jack give a preview of several new products being unveiled at SHOT Show 2024 including a new series of 5.56 and 6.5 Creedmoor rifles with fully ambidextrous lowers and rigid URX 4 handguards optimized for suppressor use.
