This week… Detroit Lions safety Tracy Walker! Since being selected by the Lions in the 2018 NFL Draft, Tracy has made a name for himself as one of the best open field tacklers in football, leading the Lions in that category by a wide margin in 2021. 2022, however, was a different story as Tracy tore his Achilles tendon in week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings. Following intense rehab, Tracy made a full recovery in a mere 6 and a half months and is 100% cleared for Lions training camp. On this week’s pod, Tracy talks about being sidelined for the majority of last season and how he was still able to help his team win, his excitement and expectations for the 2023 season (including the Lions season opening Thursday Night Football game in Kansas City against the defending Super Bowl champs), and much more.
