In our final episode of 2024, Rick Welch sits down with Rick "Big Daddy" Carter to discuss his ATT (at this time) position in regard to his faith. After watching the world of preterism go all over the map and trying to make sense of it, Rick Welch wanted to sit down and give his best effort to explain where he's landed in regard to his understanding of the scriptures and just how important it is to him. After 4 years of meeting with the Burros of Berea Podcast, going to conferences, flying all over the country meeting other believers and hearing teachings of this eschatalogical position wrestle with the understanding of what actually happened in the Garden of Eden narrative, the Old Covenant given to Moses, and the New Covenant given by Jesus, it seemed to be a critical time to make a statement of faith for clarity. This was brought on after being invited to speak at conferences in late 2024 and next year in 2025 and how serious he takes these opportunities. After reading 2 Corinthians 11:3 and focusing on the "simplicity" that is in Christ in the midst of "complex" theological discussions, his faith came into laser focus and what it truly means to "abide in Christ".
