In this episode, Justin Peters exposes a shocking new scam from prosperity preacher Ron Carpenter. Carpenter is releasing an app that allows users to "talk" to him and receive prayers via an AI chatbot that mimics his voice. For $49, users can feel like they carry their personal pastor in their pocket.
Peters lambasts the idea that a "mindless, soulless computer program" could offer genuine prayer or spiritual care. He argues that the real Ron Carpenter doesn't care about his followers, only their money - a hallmark of false teachers, according to the Bible.
Peters ties this into the broader problem of false teachers in the charismatic movement, noting that they are God's judgment on those who refuse to endure sound doctrine. He calls on Carpenter to repent, admit his lies and exploitation and put his trust in the true Christ.
