This episode is 4 of 6 in our Sow Series taking us to the next step in our change curve. We first looked at the awareness of change in our Seeds Series, then as we entered the Sow Series we found our desire to change by looking at opportunities and risks. Now we focus on our Knowledge and Ability and articulating our uniqueness.

I hope you enjoy this episode! Here are my takeaways:

1. What do we need to do to make the change? It’s the skills, ability, and how you articulate what makes you unique.

2. Skills can be trained, and ability is more natural to you.

3. Ask yourself, “What do I want and who do I talk to, to get it.”

4. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, because it makes others feel good to provide help. It is empowering to them to empower you.

5. Know what you want. Be clear on your ask for help so that the helper knows how to help you.

6. Knowing who to ask. Ask someone you trust and value their feedback.

7. You can use ChatGPT to review your bio, elevator pitch, or dating profile. Drop it in and ask if a 3rd Grader would understand it.

Homework this week: to find your unique ability:

· List 2-3 kills

· List 2-3 abilities

· Ask a few friends or colleagues to describe your uniqueness in 1-2 adjectives.

Next week we talk about deciding to make the change!
