Bill is a 20+ year law enforcement professional that has trained thousands of law enforcement, military and civilian personnel. He has developed, implemented and forwarded various training courses for the New Jersey State Police for the past several years. Courses that he has developed and that he currently instructs include Firearms, Driving, Self Defense, Tactical, Low Light, and Scenario Based Force on Force Training. Bill has developed and implemented security action plans currently used by MetLife Stadium. Bill has worked with and also trained all levels of law enforcement, local, county and federal officers.

Global Safety First, LLC (GSF) is a US company founded for the purpose of marketing unique safety products to protect or assist people in emergency situations whether caused by accident, terrorism or natural disaster. The company’s first product is the Readi Mask. The Readi Mask is the only mask specifically designed to provide protection to individuals who might find themselves in an emergency situation where airborne contaminants could be harmful if not fatal.
John Schwind, CEO and Manager. Mr. John Schwind is the CEO of Global Safety First LLC and is actively involved in all aspects of the business, including strategic planning, management, new product development, sales and marketing, and manufacturing processes. Mr. Schwind has been involved with the development of the Readi Mask since its inception, and was primarily responsible for the development of the mask. He is listed as a co-inventor on all 3 patents issued for the mask. Mr. Schwind has 15 years of marketing, management, business development, and product development experience in the both the personal protective equipment and technology industries. Mr. Schwind served as a partner at EW & Associates, Inc., a computer consulting firm, and President of Database Solutions & Training, LLC, a consulting company specializing in database support and training. Mr. Schwind holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University. He is also a commercially licensed pilot and a former flight instructor.
Thomas P. Orfanos, President and Manager. Mr. Thomas Orfanos is the President of Global Safety First LLC and is actively involved in all aspects of the business, including strategic planning, management, new product development, and sales and marketing. Mr. Orfanos has been involved with the development of the Readi Mask since its inception. He served for 11 years as President of NY-based Proventure Capital, Inc., an advisory firm which provided legal, financial, and marketing services to public and private companies. Mr. Orfanos also served for 7 years as a corporate lawyer in large law firms, specializing in mergers & acquisitions, securities laws and general corporate matters. He represented companies in a wide range of industries including biotech, telecommunications, real estate, technology, retail and hospitality. Mr. Orfanos received his J.D. from Boston University, his D.D.S. from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and his B.S. in Biology from Adelphi University.
