Recorded a few weeks before lockdown, this episode we have Lonan Jenkins telling his own take on the Sleeping Beauty story. This story is a dark, twisted tale first performed at our F*cked Up Fairytales events and is certainly not fit for children. This is the version that Disney didn't show you. The story is accompanied on music by Tim Karp and the incredible Fiona Fey (whose own music you can find on Spotify). The story is followed by a chat between Lonan, Tim and Rixy about male entitlement, how old folk stories are a bit messed up sometimes, and the responsibility stories have in shaping societal narratives.
