Today, we conclude our series on Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka by discussing Paul's arrest and trial. This includes examining the controversial "Deal with the Devil" made by the Canadian legal system, where Karla Homolka was portrayed as a battered wife coerced into participating in the crimes by her abusive husband. However, we now know that this portrayal was far from the truth.
Currently, Paul Bernardo remains incarcerated, serving a life sentence for his horrific crimes. On the other hand, Karla Homolka has served her 12-year sentence and is now living under a new identity. She resides in Quebec with her family, attempting to lead a private life away from the public eye.
