This giving of the Holy Spirit in the early church left people divided, either earnestly asking "what does this mean", or scoffing in dismissal. How do we hope to experience the Spirit today? How can we be open to that giving of control over to God? Do we trust that God wants to do amazing work in our midst and through our lives?
