I can't believe how many gems were on this episode. I had the pleasure of interviewing the The Skylit Crew, 6 artists touring on The West Coast Love Tour: Henny Holyfield, Doe The Unknown, Hiway, Skurge, Aye Tee and Kinda Odd! Plus Bub Da S.O.P. in the building too! This interview happened the morning after their big show at The Jam in Arcata that they absolutely smashed. If you're making Hip Hop in Humboldt County, you need to watch this episode for multiple reasons - these gents dropped a LOT of GAME that artists need to hear, I'm talking some real industry and brand building knowledge - but even more importantly is the bar that they are setting by coming together as a team to make this Tour happen. Artists need to see that inspiration so that they can aspire to new levels. The Skylit Crew is paving a lane, and keeping Northern Cali Hip Hop relevant; I can't wait too see these guys come out again for a show, that was some real vibes. Energy on another level. It was magic - and went both ways; These gents brought out a fire performance for Humboldt, and Humboldt brought the heads out to receive and return that energy.
