Persistence in prayer is rooted in understanding God's true character as a loving Father. Unlike an unjust judge or a reluctant friend, God eagerly desires to answer our prayers. The timing of His answers often involves preparation - both of the blessing and ourselves. Through parables, we learn that continuous prayer demonstrates faith and trust in God's perfect timing.
