The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 746 – June 9, 2024

Show Art - MAGA Wearhouse storefront

On episode 746 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table with Joe (Joseph Santorsa on Facebook and @Marnus3@mstdn.party on Mastodon) from The Poorly Written Political Blog, Francie (@Francie57 on Twitter and @Francie57@mastodon.social on Mastodon), Sue (@841920meema6 on Twitter and @SueInRockville@mstdn.social on Mastodon) and https://bren-books.com, and Justice Putnam (@justiceputnam on Twitter and @justiceputnam@sfba.social on Mastodon) from NetrootsRadio.com and http://www.dailykos.com/user/justiceputnam.

On the show this week we start out with introductions and our Heros of the Week segment, then we discuss clips of James Comey predicting what life behind bars would look like for Trump, Neal Katyal throwing cold water on Speaker Johnson’s claim that the Supreme Court will save Trump from the New York conviction, and Margaret Brennan reporting that 57% of Americans agree with Trump’s felony conviction. Next we discuss clips of Maggie Haberman torpedoing Trump’s talking point about the felony sentencing being intentionally set right before the Republican National Convention, Jonathan Lemire and the Morning Joe crew mocking pro-MAGA pundits who believe that Trump’s felony convictions will help him, Blake Masters sycophantic ad tying to out-MAGA Trump’s endorsed Primary opponent, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody about the opening of a new clothing store called MAGA Wearhouse. Then we discuss clips of RNC Co-Chair Michael Whatley telling Newsmax that Republicans are planning for the possibility of Trump addressing the Convention from prison, Rep. Eric Swalwell’s anti-Trump rant in a hearing with Attorney General Merrick Garland, and Chris Hayes cracking up when Rep. Matt Gaetz says that he his given his life to the law. Next we discuss clips of Sara Murray on CNN reporting that Steve Bannon has been ordered to report to Prison on July 1st, President Biden calling Trump ‘weak and pathetic’ in an interview with ABC World News Tonight, and we close out the show with a clip of President Biden’s spectacular speech at the 80th Anniversary of D-Day Commemoration Ceremony on the beach at Normandy.
