In the last beatitude we discovered that when we hunger and thirst for God’s righteousness, He deeply satisfies our soul. In this next BE-Attitude, Jesus demonstrates that when we develop an acute awareness of His mercy, we may enter into a cycle of giving away this great mercy we have received. Within this giving and receiving of mercy, we are placed directly in the center of His miracles of grace. As born again believers, we must not miss God’s treasured opportunities to be blessed by mercy!
