When TYT introduced the MD-380 in 2015, it set the bar for affordable digital DMR radios and brought many hams and even some small businesses into the digital age. Then came a dual band model, the MD-UV380. Now TYT is doing it again, with the introduction of a dual band digital DMR radio with GPS, IP67 dust and water protection, and 256-bit digital encryption, plus many other features, the MD-UV390 Plus.
