My name is Jessie Ott, the Host of this Podcast which is all about Beverage Innovation. I talk with Innovation Pioneers from Agriculture to Glass.

This week I spoke with Nico Martini, born and raised in the DFW area, is a best-selling author of Texas Cocktails, Texas Whiskey as well as the Co-Founder of Grayson Whiskey. He is also a regular contributor to American Whiskey Magazine. He is the Co-Founder of Bar Draught, a draft cocktails solutions company.

Nico is my second guest that started out in theatre before getting the cocktail bug. He started out at Shakespeare Dallas which led to his interest in Social Media. He was so interested in it that he received a master’s degree in Emerging Media & Communications from the University of Texas at Dallas, where he was a Guest Lecturer, and taught Digital Marketing Design and Self-Branding Through Social Media.

Nico, with his theatre background, has a very outgoing personality and isn’t afraid to connect with anyone. He’s a very connected individual within our industry and has become a thought leader and innovator within the spirits industry. He has presented at numerous events, including Tales of the Cocktail and Bar & Restaurant Expo (aka Nightclub & Bar Show) to name a few.

My bestie here in Dallas has been trying to introduce me to Nico for some time now so I’m so glad I finally got to meet him and even more excited to share his story with you all.
