Episode 118 features CCBC Carbondale store manager Nick Penzel and his take on the dad scene. To be clear, Nick is not a dad; he has one, and he has a specific take on dads in the front and backcountry. Trigger warning: dads, come with an open mind as Nick has some more revolutions around the sun until he too understands dad-realm.
Another key factor is that Randy is a new dad. As a new dad, he's maybe feeling less spry than normal and looking for some good medicine—what he refers to as his dad-mod, not exactly a dad-bod. There's no leaving Doug out of the episode's commentary. What is true is that Doug is wiggling into a small Dynafit-branded Speed Jean.
