Transmusic Airwaves caught up with GONG at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland October 6, 2024 in the middle of their international tour. We spoke with members Fabio Golfetti, Dave Sturt and Kavas Torabi about the new dynamics of Gong, writing style, and life in the hereafter. Drummer Cheb Nettles and reed man Ian East complete Gong’s most stable lineup ever. Hugely talented, they remain strong and focused….exploring new music while carrying on the heritage of Gong, not living in its shadow.
