Police unions should not exist. Not only do they protect corrupt, violent, even murderous cops, but they are also staunch defenders of the status quo.
They use their power to grow in both size and power and to use their strength against the working class and poor.
They are the ultra-violent arm of the state which is dead set against the organizing of the proletariat.
