One of the most haunted sites you will stumble upon in Ireland is also one that has been a religious sanctuary to an order of Franciscan Friars since it’s establishment in the 15th Century.

Created on instruction by the voice of God The Abbey was also a place of pain and suffering as it was raided by English troops set on removing Catholic orders from the country.

Those that would not leave were threatened with torture and death.
