Early in her life Teresa knew she wanted to dedicate her life to the church, but does this perhaps once noble quest lead her to become a money hungry, entitled, hypocrite? You can decide. We seem to think it's a hard yes. Known for helping "the poorest of the poor" (just ask, she'd be the first to tell you) throughout her lifetime, the nun did receive criticism before her death in 1997, but not enough to stop her from becoming a household name and wrongly associated with selflessness, kindness and being pious.
