There is a lot of misinformation and confusion as to what the kingdom of God or kingdom of heaven is (these two are synonymous). Many confuse this kingdom with modern Christianity or being part of a church, but it is neither of these. Because of this confusion many misunderstand what the gospel of Jesus Christ is. Many believe it is nothing more than a set of steps or verbal proclamation to give someone eternal life. The gospel message is not as many suppose. Instead, it is a message of good news about the kingdom of heaven.
So, what can be said of this kingdom of heaven? What is its relation to modern Christianity and the institutionalized church? We will begin to discuss this with this message. Here we will seek to establish a foundation for those who are in Christ, and for those who have ears to hear the truth concerning the gospel.
