I dunno what my deal is this season, maybe I'm healing old wounds for myself as well? I am learning, healing and growing but most importantly I am communicating with the people I love one by one. This episode was beautiful, it was healing, and it was needed.
This episode I speak to my best friend Zynobia about her life, love and tribulations but most importantly we have the hardest conversation finally about her life after divorce. As close as we were, we never talked about it and that's always sat with me, I guess. This space was great, and I've just been trying to listen more. Like really listen not to just listen to defend or argue but I want to understand, and I also want to be understood and with that comes with me listening and communicating in ways that I haven't done in the past. We both get a little emotional because this was a lot for us. But I hope this conversation resonates with a lot of people and especially women who too have suffered from relationships with their bff that fell off.
