Good morning, Boston! This is your weather wizard coming to you with a wet and wild forecast that'll keep you on your toes!
Let's dive right in. We're looking at a soggy start to our week with showers playing hide and seek overnight and into Monday morning. Expect temperatures hovering around a mild 49 degrees overnight, with south winds dancing at about 13 miles per hour.
Monday's gonna be a wet one, folks! Showers are practically guaranteed, with precipitation possible between a quarter and half an inch. Temperatures will climb to a comfortable 58 degrees, but keep that umbrella handy. Winds will be doing the cha-cha, shifting from south to southwest and potentially gusting up to 26 miles per hour.
The good news? Things start clearing up Monday night. We'll see mostly clear skies and temperatures dropping to a crisp 39 degrees.
Tuesday brings increasing clouds, with a high near 52 degrees. Tuesday night, however, rain makes a comeback, with a 90 percent chance of precipitation and temperatures around 40 degrees.
New Year's Day continues the wet trend, with rain likely before 3 pm and temperatures reaching about 50 degrees.
The latter part of the week looks much more promising sunny and chilly, with temperatures ranging from the low 30s to high 30s. Expect some brisk west winds that might make you want to grab that cozy winter jacket.
