California Governor Calvin Newsome raised minimum wage for fast food workers to $20 an hour. The new minimum wage will be in effect for restaurants who have at least 60 location and make their own bread. Health care workers wanted a raise as well and the governor stated that he won't do it for them because they are paid through medicaid which is the peoples money.
