Debbie founded her company Golf for Cause in 2000 to empower businesswomen through golf. She wrote a book entitled Get Your Golf On! and sits on the board of the First Tee of Phoenix and Women in the Golf Industry. Debbie is most proud of her work with LPGA Co-Founder and World Golf Hall of Fame member Marilynn Smith, as confidante and Co-Tournament Director of her annual Pro-Am. The Pro-Am raises money for Marilynn’s Scholarship Fund, which has awarded over $1,000,000 to young women to attend college. Since Marilynn’s passing, Debbie co-founded the Marilynn Smith & Founders’ Legacy Foundation to forward the spirit and legacies of the trailblazing LPGA Founders and Pioneers.
